I highly doubt he will accept friend requests from people he does not know.

Notch uses Jebs account for playing steam games iirc. Atleast at work he does on that documentary video on youtube.

Why yes, i'm sure Notch will take the time to talk to some random nobody like you >_>

i want to ask him 1 question: why isn't minecraft on steam?
Starjun Feb 8, 2013 @ 6:01am

That entire post is filled with crap.
The real reason is that Notch doesnt want steam taking a 30% cut on every copy sold.
And i cant blame him for it.

No. They wont.
There is no reason for it to be on steam. There is no benefit to it. only downsides.

No it won't. Steam takes a 30% cut. Right now Notch gets 100% and the game is still selling well. He has no reason to give up 30% of his profits.

I doubt it. Minecraft still sells thousands a day. Why would Mojang want Valve to take a percentage of their profits when they are still getting a hefty profit without them?

The artical is correct. The main reason is Steams reaquirements (including the 30%) and the controlled enviroment. RIght now he can do what ever he wants to Minecraft. Why give that up?
