Not to dispute the controversy over Ace of Spades

But BO2 has a User Metacritic rating of like 3.3 so to be honest the whole 'user' portion isn't really a very reliable indicator of anything.

Bumping thread is also against the rules so do not do that or encourage it.

Really, you are going to post in a thread for a game you don't own and compare it to black ops 2, and to be honest metacritic is right there was only one good game from that series and you should know it by heart.

But no lecture me on metacritic please, white knight a company that odds are made it's investment back shoveling crap games off on steam. They don't care they made their money.

Anyway, Satoru's point about Metacritic is spot on. Thousands of people enjoy Black Ops 2 each and every day, yet it's only rated 3.3 on the user score. In comparison to that, Ace of Spades 2.4 is worth peanuts in terms of basing an opinion off of it.

Why doesn't it work? You say it is "crap", nothing about it not working, and you show "proof" by posting a link to it's metacritic page.

Still nothing about a problem, so it is not about a product "not working" and has everything to do with opinion.

Your post used the USER metacritic rating ad if that was an arbiter of quality. As I stated BO3 has a 3.3 user rating.

Therefore using the user metacritic rating to bolster your point is quite meaningless if something like BO2 and MW3 can be review bombed as well. The USER metacritic rating is overall a poor indicator of game quality.

Please try to read my posts before trying to dispute them. Nowhere did I defend the game as a "white knight" or anything. You in fact sound more like a troll by turning my entirely neutral posting into a massive straw man argument. This is a poor way of convincing people of your point.

I don't care what you think about the game but you didn't refute my point that using the user metacritic rating is a poor way of "warning" users about a game given the counter examples I gave.

You may want instead try to outline what is so bad about the game and such. Rather than relying on the rather dubious user metacritic rating.

Most of the user reviews that I see on the Metacritic page are complaining that the paid release isn't the same as the free release, and isn't, well free. None of that has anything to do with the game not working and more to do with the game not being what they wanted.

Also, in regards to Metacritic scores, Steam does still post them on the games' pages, when there's actually critical reviews. Ace of Spades has no critical reviews, only user scores.

Metacritic scores by players don't reflex on how good or bad the game is. Look at all the COD games, metacritic score of below 4 etc, its the same with all the big games from big companies. Hate for the company reflexs in the players scoring. If players that are hooked to game will give games a low score because of some kind of hate.

i love ace of spades... other than the random game crashes that have been going on for most people including me. it looks like its been happening for a while so it doesnt look like they are going to fix it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jagex
