This is only the beginning, imagine what its going to be like with the use of AI, steam wont even be able to tell if the characters/actors in the games are real or not, it may even be that there will be illegal and disturbing content contained within the games, imagine some one making revenge porn an putting it in a game for $100 bucks.

They should have never have started to sell this kind of content, there is only perverts and kids on steam that purchase this content, it needs to be moved into its own platform with stronger access requirements.

Steam doesn't allow adult games that feature anyone who looks like a a real person.

You should actually know the rules before spreading misinformation.

The point is though, they still shouldn't be removed because this is how shops should work - offering stuff for EVERYONE or at least, as close to as they can.

I was actually opted out of seeing NSFW content for quite awhile until I realized it stopped me from viewing things like the Witcher and GTA. Either way, before I opted into seeing it, the "new and trending" tab on the steam store homepage was always 3/4ths porn games with at least half of them being visual novels.

Because the store works like that. So if you're seeing a lot of these games that's because you've either been viewing them or games DIRECTLY like them, or it doesn't have enough data yet.

So get working on it, and it will change.

Could make my library public and show you that most of my games outside of gal gun have nothing to do with porn, and I got gal-gun as a gift. I don't know why Valve wouldn't have enough info after 14 years of buying games on this platform. I'd also like to add that it's not the entire home-page that's like this, my discovery queue and most of the homepage recommendations are normal. It's entirely specific to the new and trending section of the home page. It's usually always filled with porn. Today is one of the few days where I didn't see a single porn game on it.

I could just send you a direct snapshot of what's in my library page. Afaik, the "new and trending" tab isn't even account specific. It's what it says on the tin. Games that are new to Steam and are picking up users faster than other recent additions.
