More like: dude opened a post to enlarge the list of games he hates, not the list of games he WANTS.
Exactly. He wants a "hate list" so he can declare games woke before having even seen or played a second of them. That no "preference" thats being an gullible tool that believes everything other people tell them.
Like half the games on those "woke lists" have not even released yet, some have nothing more then a single artwork out yet and are declared "woke" because there is a black character on the poster or a female lead. Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiotic to the max.

Oof. I'm a fan of Fable, looked forward to new game and one look at the "artwork" in the trailer left me speechless and shocked. Should I wait for this game to be released if I'm already repulsed by the direction its "art" is going to?

I don't know. My brain isn't wired to understand buzzwords like "woke" or "DEI" or whatever else. I just pick games based on gameplay, food for the senses and story. People had a meltdown over "Battletech" being "woke" just for having a pronoun option. Battletech, the game where you spend roughly 35% of your time in battle, 40% of the time in the time in the mech bay and most of your remaining time managing contracts and deciding which one to pick next. The player is DONE with pronouns once the character creation is completed.
What even makes a game "woke"? Do I have some in my library or wishlist? What would make them qualify as "woke"? I really don't understand the "anti-woke" on one end but I also don't get the other side either. What the heck are they whining about? DEI? Video games include not only all kinds of existing human types, they include stuff like dwarves, aliens, elves... and they all have an equal chance to be appreciated by players.
I believe you should answer that question based on your tastes. like, there can be some elements that are considered "woke" by others but you can't be bothered with those. so it's not "woke" for you. then if there's something very left leaning and it rubs you the wrong way - it's your definition of "woke", e.g. something too "progressive" for you. I consider myself a centrist and I might have some overlap with both sides but I will never go into extremes.
people exclaim "woke" when what they see is too much for their alignment. you won't be hearing "woke" from leftists because instead they will use some buzzword for right wing.
so basically we have different ideas of "woke", there's no golden standard.
Thus it's impossible to compile an objective list of them and it should be left up to the individual to decide.
probably. list has games that had relation to "woke" consultancy. it's up to user to decide if they consider it "woke" enough to avoid or is it something they can accept.
I don't believe anyone ever said that list is a hit list or something like that. people as paying customers just get one more tool to make informed purchase.

They probably had a legitimate point as diverse populations grew. Now however, the pendulum has swung the opposite way and instead of landing in the middle has landed on the far side. Groups of LGBTQ, women, and ethnic classes are now being over-represented in the public square, far beyond their population numbers.
When that criteria is met, it is "woke"
One such over-classification in gaming and movies is female protagonists of color who are always lesbians. This is a clear case of trying to shove everything into one basket and does not represent the population at large. It's really fake and people don't like their games or movies putting more emphasis on the diversity than on the gameplay and story.
If you break it down into individual components, I think most people are not against women protagonists in general, nor people of color in general, nor LGBTQ people in general. Mashing them all together in one character is the problem if it's happening in the majority of what is supposed to be entertainment for fun. Gaming and movies are now being over-used for cultural wars.
