CS2 unplayable
I'm posting this here and not in the CS2 discussions because:

1.It should be more visible in the Steam forums
2. CS2 forums are clogged with less urgent stuff (trade offers, scammers, etc.)
3. The issue still isnt fixed despite people reporting it along the cheaters problem.

So, the issue in question is the incessant rubberbanding in CS2, I will always get rollbacks every 2 to 10 seconds, despite being connected to the closest server to me (11ms) and having myself a good connection and a constant 12-24ms in game. I dont have any connection issues in any other game and my wifi is overall good.
I can smell the "specs?" incoming even if I dont see what it has to do with such issue, but I have a rtx 3060, a 2550x1440p with 144hz screen and 16gb of RAM, and Ive seen people with better specs having the same exact issue.
If its not on our end, it must be on Valve's side, so hopefully there will be a fix VERY soon, its getting unbearable, so Steam staff, before deleting or moving my discussion, at least read it first and let other users read it please.

if you have issues with a game, post in that games forum. that is where the game developers for that game will be.

I never get any answers regarding this issue in the CS2 forums, which is why I also posted that here

no one from valve posts on the forum. the only people that do post are the forum mods and they only post why they are locking a thread.

not getting a response from a dev does not mean it wasn't seen.

So my friend is having a problem. we play a couple premier matches then randomly he’ll get booted right at the start of the game and it tell him to verify his files. he proceeds to try and do so and it won’t let him. then after an hour or so it allows him to get back in. he’s gotten a 24 hour ban now for abandoning matches and we can’t figure out the issue that is causing this. anyone else having this issue?

Never heard about this issue, your best bet would be to directly ask Valve support/devs, but to be honest, they either probably wont respond, not get you any help and/or respond with premade responses with solutions that you already tried...

I've had this issue. I have no idea what it means. The drive I have steam on is incredibly organized and compact.

It only seems to happen on competitive matches. I also experience this on faceit matches, and I feel horrible for having the game close with this error, and then stuck verifying files which takes forever, and then I am left with a cool down
