Sudden Price Increase on the Game? Project Motor Racing

I was planning to buy the game and checked the price this morning — it was around R$244 (roughly $40–50 USD). But when I looked again just now, the price jumped to R$419.95 (about $80 USD).

Does anyone know what happened? I checked other stores that also sell the game, and the Year 1 Bundle is still listed at R$244 (R$191 with the discount).

Most likely the developers or publishers increased the price. Sometimes companies do this before a big sale to seem like there giving a big sale discount, so they up the price before doing it, then do a "sale". Ive seen this with other things too in real life, where they make price higher, then come in with a sale and say it is on discount, selling it at old regular price or even higher price.

You should email them. On their store page, on the side, is a link to the developers website. They tend to have email listed on their site, or their facebook account where you can ask them about the price increase. Steam did not do this, the developers did.

There is a cooldown for a discount after a price increase.

The game gets released in 2 weeks.
No idea when the preorder started, but if people bought it at the old price inm regions where the price got upped it could be that they get refunded and need to rebuy it to the higher one......if giants wants to be mean....
