- When deleting a screen shot from the list, it sends you to the top instead of keeping your place on the list
Just another brain dead decision. Why have the pictures in chronological order, if I can't MANAGE THEM in such order without getting ping ponged around the list?!
Who tested this???
- If you change the size of the manager at all, it will re shuffle thus putting you back to the top of the list once again the next time you click a photo
there is a search function under your nickname on the screenshot page
- When you click a cloud uploaded screenshot form the library screenshot manager there is no option to delete.
- There is no option at all to delete a local screenshot that was uploaded to the cloud anymore. You delete the cloud version and it's removed from steam screenshot manager but the local version is still floating around in your steam folder. There is no way to access and remove it from within the manager. In old version you just clicked a cloud screenshot from the manager and choose delete and then got an option to delete from local only or delete both local and cloud. It was simple and worked perfectly.
- Lots of local only screenshots are being treated as if they are on the cloud even when they were never uploaded. This causes longer delete times since it's going through the cloud delete process for each one that is being considered a cloud screenshot. And is taking up your cloud space when they were never uploaded from the start. As an example I deleted 50 local screenshots at once that were never uploaded before and it counted around 30 of them as being on the cloud. Clearly something is broken with this.
Well then if you, innocent kiddo, reading this, consider the following situation. You play half of the game and take 10 screenshots and upload them. Next day you finish another half, take 10 shots and upload them too. The result in screenshot page is this:
1. Obviously, the sorting by date is now reversed. Descending is now ascending.
2. The order is now broken. These groups of shots are now sorted separately.
agreed, these are the main issues for me, particularly the first two points.
I sent a ticket and they simply said I should go to this forums for giving ideas or feedback along with "your feedback will be forwarded to the appropriate department".
I'm just gonna bump this thread even if OP seems very angry
Are you selecting public on the screenshot before you upload? It's set to private by default which for some reason for me wont upload when it's on private. It works when it's set to public.
But in all honesty I wouldn't bother uploading anything right now because you will end up with more problems that it's worth. Unless it's a screenshot you will likely never delete anyway.
Its weird because the first few posted with the new update, then I noticed they were private. I switched them to public and then tried posting to public and got the error. Tried posting to private again, still getting the error. Tried everything for days now and I just cant post any screenshots at all now.
