No Steam delivery girl this time?

What a bummer, it seems they didnt use the steam delivery mascot girl.

She was just part of the theme for the seasonal sales last year. They change it up every year and have been doing that for a while now.

Pro tip: don't bind your heart unto ephemeral things, such as Steam sales mascots. Bind your heart to what'll remain, i.e. the great games you can buy on said sale.

Honestly the themeing for the sale feels really random. The artstyle is good, but the theme itself doesn't particularly remind me of spring. Imo, besides the steam delivery girl, I thought the pixel city theme from 2023 was really good (even though I don't think it covered all seasons).

She's off delivering N-Gages and PSP Gos.

As for this year's artwork? It's bland. No soul to it. Lacks the charm of the city theme from a couple of years back, and the storytelling of the delivery girl. Maybe next year's will be better.

Anyone else wish they sold a steam delivery girl plush? And I could have spent hours with that scooter, especially if it could transform.

Valve used to let a 3rd party site create and sell merchandise but that site stopped closed. 4fansbyfans was Valve merchandise partner for around a decade but after welovefine purchased them years ago, 4fans also closed shop December 2022.
