I mostly play on my new(ish) Lenovo Android tablet (w/Android OS 14).
Sometimes - on a very old Nokia phone (w/Android OS 11 Go).
Nokia had that really great snake games, as I recall!
This isn't a fair question because there are games that are console only that I'd play if I still had the game and the console that runs it.
Would I play them on PC if I could? Hell yes I would, but the fact is a lot of them are going to disappear into the ether thanks to cost and keeping them alive.
Pointless argument for me because both will always be a viable option.
They're too sensitive and very badly constructed, as the joysticks way too small.
PS3 and Xbox 360 Controllers the best, even to use here on Steam.
Anyhow, i prefer console for triple a games, and pc for game i cannot get on console.
Nope, guess your not familiar with the problems plaguing Xbox. In fact they were sued over it years ago and settled out of court and paid people who had the issue.
Because their controllers stink. Stick with the older controllers. I had to buy cronus just to use my PS3 and 360 controllers.
It's mainly Ninentdo controllers and the latest generation xbox/ps that have some issues.
As I aged and got more patience and knowledge/skill at using and navigating my PC, I grew further and further apart from console gaming. Then one realization made me put away console gaming for good.
Consoles have regular hardware generations. Sometimes the games from the previous generation will play on the new one. Other times they won't. I was looking at the online service for the Switch, and one of the "perks" is a selection of playable classic games. Basically, if I want to play the original Legend of Zelda on my Switch, I have to pay a recurring subscription fee. I have already purchased that game outright five different times for five different Nintendo consoles, but I still need to sign up for some "service" just to play it on the most recent Nintendo console.
Meanwhile on PC, there are no hardware generations. PC is PC. A PC game from 20 years ago? Older? I can just play it on a modern system. 40 plus years of PC games available on one device. Technically, 40 plus years of console games are also playable on my PC. That's more games than anyone can reasonably play in their lifetimes.
Well the Xbox One controller were the ones starting this issue.
The thing of it is, they're made for people with small hands. That's why they're very sensitive and wiggly, and inevitably causes the stick drift imo.
What Xbox has to do, is just have the 360 controller, compatible with the newer systems.
Sorry, but even the older controllers were effected by this. Just beause you never experienced it doesn't mean it wasn't an issue.
Thats not even taking into account the more serious issues such as the red ring of death. I went thru 4 xbox 360 consoles myself before I got one after they finally fixed it that didn't break.
Though the wear that leads to stick drift, has affected controllers since the PS1 when Dual Shock first came out.
Why I suggest people get BW 100 cleaner, helps keep wear down from dust etc, and prolongs the life of the plastics.
