add "-w 1920" to your launch options

Go to PCGamingWiki, find the game, and look at the section showing savegame and configuration file locations. Delete the configuration and/or savegames.

As said, find out where the config file is. Deleting might not be necessary, editing it by including the correct resolution could be enough.
Why would someone include "0" resolution anyway ???

Not them, but I have tried typing numbers into things before, and the number pad was off, so it just set it to blank instead.

verify integrity properties/installed files/verify

Unfortunately that only refreshes the game files in the game folder.

Configuration files are usually stored in c:\users\username\appdata

yer true forgot about that well they just needs to delete the file in appdata (as long as they dont delete the whole appdata folder xD) then verify, and then it should fix it i would of thought.
Did anyone find out how to do this I messed up a games setting. Now I’m trying to reset them back to the original, but I can’t do it through the game itself.

I just deleted the config file, then when I reopened the game, it went through the initial setup again. It was back at the default settings, and it allowed me to redo my settings.

Just find out where the file is for that particular game.
