If you are infected by clicking a link, immideatly install some anti malware and anti spyware.
Never accepct invites from private profiles.
And if its public for some reason, its infected user rather than a bot.
The user had no games in his account, but about 200 friends.
I just wanna now: How is it possible this person appears on my friend list, when I never accepted the request? I m using steam on just ONE pc and there were no steam activations on any other pc (no acces code was sent to my mail) until I did so last time.
My computer seems clear (scanneed every folder in paranoid mode), I didnt accept any friend request within like the last year and of course I dont even think of accepting one of any unkown person....
Googled him/her and found things like TF2 transactions etc...
Could you please translate your replay into English? ;)
Google translater aint a real help
One thing that sometimes causes confusion is that accepting a gift from another user automatically adds that user as a friend. Which makes sense to some extent, but gifts aren't just used between friends so it can also cause confusion.
"Last online" doesn't mean much, as that just tracks the Steam client. Logins via the website don't count as "online".
Also, being a "friend of a friend" doesn't mean anything, just like in real life. There's the whole thing about "an enemy of my enemy must be a friend" thing, but no such "rule" can be applied to the people my friends know.
Are gifts accepted and added via e-mail also related to those "automatic friend-addition"? I was gifted a humble bundle game by the user of a computer-forum who didnt need it. He sent me that via mail and I accepted it (some months ago).
But then he wasnt on my list, but today this person was...?!
(my friends list is very, very short so i can check it by one click)
