Does that help you ?
I mean, that's a little less time consuming comparing to hand writing it all... But, I'm looking for more of a way of PDF, or printing if possible. :/ Even if I did the screen caps I would still have to sort through the listings created, and listings canceled. :/
So sorry that was not very helpful for you. Perhaps someone else here knows more.
EDIT..have you looked in the transactions page of your account to see if there is a print feature there ? Do you know how to access that part of your account ?
https://store.steampowered.com/account/
Thanks for the help, to your above post. I appreciate it, and yes I looked on my account page. Just didn't see anything about it. They kind of put you through a difficult process having to do all this stuff, and have no way of easily obtaining the information. Other than have keeping track of it as you buy/sell items. :/
*Edit - Yeah, only print option I can remember seeing was after buying games. I thought I saw one when I was looking through my game purchases one day, but I guess not :/
If you print screen after selecting the merket transactions and store transactions and game transactions tabs one at a time under your account transactions page I linked, that would not be good enough for your tax purposes ?
Again, forgive me but just trying to make sure I cover everything to help you.
It's fine, I don't mind. The thing with doing that is it would be time consuming. I'm trying to find a quick way out. Plus, my main concern is the Market transactions, and when I click on it from my account page, nothing loads. May be because I have something like 24k transactions, and it's just taking a while to load... I don't know. Also, I have about 1k worth if in-game purchases as well. Not to mention the store purchases (meaning games) that I would have to go through. Some being retail, some being free codes, and some being bought on the store at a discount. I'd have to go through my e-mails to actually get the legit price I spent on the games. The tax office said anything under $400 doesn't need to be filed, and I'm assuming I hadn't spent over $400 on games on Steam this past year... I hope. I know though, during the Winter sale I spent about $100, so I may have -___-
Sorry again for not being much help.
Can't print out the market transactions from my bank :/ I could access them from my e-mail but that would be just as time consuming as screen capping everything :/
maybe you can sort these steam messages out in your email ?
not sure there is any other way to do this other than use the print screen & paint
btw you cannot withdraw tax from games :P
Yeah I know, but when you gross over 20k in a year, or make like 20k transactions you get a 1099-K form. A 1099-K is basically for your electronic credit transactions. I can't get a return from these taxes, but I still have to file them as a "business" LOL
*Edit - This means every time you BUY, and SELL from the Market it goes into your grossed funds. Also, each time you purchase a game from the Steam store that goes on there too. The lady that's helping me at the tax office is basically having me log all of my transactions to try, and prove I didn't gain any money from this. Meaning I didn't earn any physical currency, like through withdrawing funds from Steam. We all know that's impossible, but if I don't file this then I could get auditted, and it will be tougher to do in the future. Basically, I have to file the taxes to prove that I didn't earn anything... So it's a bunch of wasted time.
No problem dude, this 1099-K is really used for people who have online businesses that use PayPal and Bitcoins. Unfortunately, Steam falls under it as well because it's electronic credit as well. But, as every Steam user knows, there is no way to deposit money from your Steam to your bank, PayPal, or Bitcoin.
