Greetings,
I have made a modification to the current Steam UI. I like current style overall, but there were parts which were bothering me. I was trying to make it more efficient and remove things I did not like.

-Removed blue light effect;
-Removed Big Picture button;
-Removed View buttons;
-Removed gray banners;
-Removed account name button;
-Added "Restart Steam" to the Steam drop down menu.
-Added "Account Details" to the Steam drop down menu.
For those who dislikes new blue icon, old one is included.

To install, extract archive to the "skins" folder.
Example: "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\skins"

Not bad man, over all i do think you some time need that name button on the top

This button is available in the Settings -> Account tab.
Well, yeah, I am happy with Steam ui now.^^

For a more drastic change in favour of efficiency, I'd recommend the good old Metro skin.
