Are coupons gone forever?

I'd hoped they'd return, sad to see a convenient vehicle to go by the wayside. I found a couple games with it, and even was able to gift some to others by trade or whatnot, letting them try something out, I wouldn't play. A simple social tool that can be helpful in creating friendships(and sales).

They are gone thankfully.

Well, they were mostly useless. You could not combine them with sale. You could wait and buy games with more percent off in sale, than with coupon. And most coupons were for trash games anyway.

There are more than enough sales throughout the year, with better discounts as to make coupons unnecessary and worthless. Simple as.

They tried the thing. It didn't quite work out so they removed it.

Yes, coupons are silently gone after Winter 2024 sale.

I don't think i ever used one. They were always for trash games no one wanted..

so glad the coupons is gone, had to use coupon dumpster to get rid of it (even if the coupon expired). years back you could have gotten some ok coupons (used one) but the rest was all crappy games or games what i wouldn't even think of looking at, left alone buy.

i would not have found fortify without it, or armored kitten. So, I will remember them fondly. The main reason was it being plastered all over my profile page about trading, and or giving some such away before the expiration. I don't recall off hand the handful of others over the years. I found them entertaining, as I had no idea what to expect, so I went open minded. Maybe that's how I saw golden light. I wanna watch someone play that one, I am too old(and unwilling) to try it myself(or give myself a coronary). I think even Kill all zombies was one, but that's about my top speed now, and city of brass. RIP QUEpons

I found a few small-time favorites that way, didn’t notice until just recently that I stopped getting them. Shame that is, now I’ll have to get inventive with my store search keywords.
