Are there any other games like "Meet Your Maker"?
I really enjoyed creating custom dungeons with a artistic flair, and seeing others work their way through them.

But sadly the game is basically dead at this point.

Any other games of a similar nature out there?

You might want to check out the evil genius games. You basically design a evil lair and kill spys and super heroes coming into it.

Also the Dungeons series lets you create dungeons too. These two series might be worth looking at for you.

Hmmmm, I think you missed what I meant.

I mean a game like "Meet Your Maker", where you create a dungeon that other players go through. (Sculpting everything from the exterior appearance, to the interior layout and decorations, to the enemies and traps)

Those three games are all based around NPCs trying to get through your dungeon, not other players. That, and you can't really sculpt the exterior of your "Dungeon" or control the interior decorating much in those games either, part of what I liked about "Meet Your Maker" was the artistic touch I could add. Making it not just a matter of tactics but aesthetics.

Though thanks for the recommendations~

Sorry. I am unsure what game is like that. The ones i posted are the closest i seen to it, but yea, it does not have the things you specifically want. They are just close to that. Maybe someone else can suggest a indie game that may be closer to what you want.

The only ones that spring to mind are Spore: Galactic Adventures (which must have been multiple decades ago at this point) or just game modding in general

The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is centered around other players entering your dungeon.

Aside from that, any game with a level editor.
good advice ReBoot

I did a steam search and it has over 3000 listings...

I tried searching, and couldn't find any game called "The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot".

And I did not see any "Dungeon Maker" games for other players on the listing of Level Editor games.

At least nothing equivalent to "Meet Your Maker", where you can create the exterior, interior, and watch other players fight through it.
in the game description it says #base building
which brings up this...

and if you scroll down on the game page it says more like this also..
The question isn't about games where you build anything, it's about games where you make a challenge that other players can then complete.

Which I'd basically split into three categories:
  1. MMORPG guild halls and the like, where you're using tools meant for decorating to make some kind of obstacle course.
  2. Games with built-in level editors and built-in sharing, frequently in the puzzle or strategy genres.
  3. Games with external level editors and modding tools, which are less far from the other two categories than you might think.

Meet Your Maker's art style and controls were pretty unique among puzzle games, but it essentially was one, at least from what I saw of it, and not too dissimilar from something like

Not quite.....

Part of what appealed to me about Meet Your Maker, was how you could include artistry into the dungeon, it's outward, and inner appearance. As well as the soldiers and traps within.

I suppose I just have to accept it was a unique idea that was poorly executed. ~sighs~
Wonder how many years it will be before someone else makes a game like it....
Though hopefully better polished so it can maintain a community.
