I also never had an issue longer than 10 mins
Been using the launcher myself fine. Do you have a firewall exception for ubisoft connect? You may need to allow it to go thru the windows firewall or your virus scanners firewall to work properly.
Requiring a third party account is not equivalent of requiring a third party launcher.
Also, it's not a significant warning. Your reply doesn't really correlate to my post.
I'm complaining that there is a huge popup in my game whenever I get an achievement, and that it requires me to deal with a third part launcher.
I actually like achievements, just not the part where they are in my face and hiding significant portions of the game.
Then you get achievements you don't even want, and maybe even years after purchasing a title.
Do you think the game designer actually wanted achievements in your game?
Of course not. If it wanted that, it would have made the achievement system an integral part of the gameplay or art-style in-game, instead of adding a "tagged on" system years after release.
Right there under game information.
Just so you know, since you obviously don't know,
This is a USER only steam sub-forum....
There are no valve / steam employees, or staff, techs, support team members or moderation team members in the 2 steam related sub-forums.
so your off topic rant will not be seen, except by other steam users like you. They have also shown you were you missed the info already posted on the game store page.
If you're having issues with the Connect client though, you might want to try updating it.
It "remembers" logged in states just as well as most other clients do. Personally, I find it's EA App that always asks me to log in regardless -- but I rarely launch that one, which is likely why. Connect asks me to log back in once every 2 or so months depending on what I launch. It does have an annoying habit of wanting you to log back in for certain age-gated games -- but search the net about that, someone did find a workaround.
