Audio echo when broadcasting
Whenever I start up my games (usually Skyrim LE) and I turn the broadcast on, I'll start playing the game and hear the normal audio, but then there will be and overlay echo from ~5 seconds before I started actually doing something in-game. I have my mic off in broadcast settings, I'm not using any 3rd-party software, and this happens even when no friends are watching (though it will show 1 viewer, which I've figured out means me; I've managed to stop "viewing" my game and it'll show 0 viewers, but the issue still persists).

I know that I have gotten the broadcast to work correctly in the (LONG distant) past, but I think that was before Steam made changes to how broadcasting works. (I'm honestly not sure since it has been a while since I last tried to broadcast my game for my friend to watch.)

I have seen posts about similar issues, but most of those either included using some type of 3rd-party chat software (Skype, etc), or other programs like OBS, and the ones that don't include that don't seem to have been answered.

TIA!

Turn off environmental effect. Ive seen others report this issue in other games. Also some have reported turning off audio enhancement fixes it too.

Thank you for the replies!

We did seem to find a workaround where I didn't actually start a broadcast, just started the game normally, and then invited him to watch it. Had no issues that time, even when using steam's vc.
