Bro, it's everywhere. You cannot stop a disease when the host permits the disease to grow.
Valve is permitting this disease. All they have to do is remove a very specific API, and that disease is gone.
It's psychology 101.
Steam charts get the same public information that the game hubs have.
I knew this sounded familiar.
That's because valve has API enabled. I'm saying that API should be exclusive for devs. Such an low IQ take. You're a frog, no wonder why.
Also, thank you for linking to my OG post.
Game hubs already show this information.
Valve isn't going to remove it.
And yes, CoD is a dead game, at least on Steam. But it is a dead game even according to Activision themselves.
Gamehubs are taking information from Valve API. That's what I'm saying. I'm telling you and Valve that, that specific API is allowed to devs only. Anything that is publicly traded, and publicly informed leads to mob take over.

The game hubs are set up to automatically show that information. It's part of the game hub package itself. No one is manually using the API to publish the player counts.
Give me the link to this so called "game hub"

The ALL tab is the main game hub page.
I think the threshold for it to show up is 300 players but I'm not 100% positive. Just checked and that seems to be it.
That's depended on valve api. So you ignoring what I literally said.
Those are called game hubs.
Okay troll. You have zero understanding how api works. Blocked and reported.
What you are suggesting is only allowing "Happy happy joy joy" posts.
Steam charts and metrics are just a reflection of a games current population or popularity, only in some cases is the population of a game is important (generally PvP games).
