What are some of your favorite games you'd recommend that are on sale?
Hey all, and Happy Holidays. I have 30$ USD and don't really know what to pick up with it.

Please suggest some games you love, genre or type doesn't matter. I'm looking to broaden my horizons.

I hope you all are having a decent time, please take care! :kyouclannad:

Gunvolt series and Gunvolt Chronicles series (spin off)
Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari
One Way Heroics Plus
Inside (-90%)
Deadly premonition (if you don't mind jank and questionable port that might crash, price is right.) (-95%)

Disco Elysium recommended but maybe with a grey market key or steeper sale/other maybe, the publisher has a legal battle against devs, so whatever you want to do with that.

What about "Spelunky"? It cost around $2,99 and it can be a pretty long experience until you end up mastering the game. I'm almost at 50hrs and still having a great time lol.

If you enjoy Dungeons & Dragons (v3) gameplay then I cannot help be convinced that you're going to love this game as well, despite its dated graphics and somewhat limited controls in comparison to current games (then again... context applies).

I mean, for a mere 5 bucks you're not just buying yourself an RPG game, you'll be getting yourself a D&D toolkit that allows you to set up a multiplayer server very easily and also make your own contents!

... you'll also get access to tons of community content as well, and some of those modules are really good!

Even though there's no discount on the base game right now, the Civilization 5 "Complete" bundle for only $10 is a great deal, and has a 93% discount!

Days Gone has the best single player story I've ever had in an open world zombie game. And the open world elements are really fun because all the characters are bikers and it's honestly really fun to ride your bike around the zombie apocalypse world. It's one of those fantastic Playstation exclusives that recently released on Steam!

Lots of really good story rich games in this Steam sale for great prices.

GTA IV lacks the multiplayer component that GTA 5 has, but imo the GTA IV single player is amazing, comes with multiple campaigns in the complete edition with a mountain of great quality story content. I think it might honestly be my favorite GTA right now. The graphics aren't that much worse than GTA 5 if there's even any difference, the game works great with modern Xbox controllers right out of the box, and you could easily spend like 100 hours playing this just having fun in the single player, if not more. For $6 it's an incredible bargain. Oh, and they added Steam achievements to these classic games =)

That Tomb Raider game is THE Tomb Raider game that made me start to love Tomb Raider games. An awesome single player experience and excellent value for only like $2 or $3. And the subsequent "Rise Of The Tomb Raider" is also a great value for $4. Great classic Tomb Raider gameplay and a fun story campaign.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is also seriously classic. It's dripping with atmospheric storytelling, and has one of the most memorable soundtracks I've ever experienced in gaming. I'm still hearing echoes of it like 10 years after playing it. Super easy to recommend at the current price if you've never tried it.

Lots of classic options here, all with amazing player reviews on Steam. And all for amazingly cheap prices.

The ones I would suggest (if I believed in suggesting games as we all have differing tastes) don't exist on Steam. A lot of them are old PS1 and PS2 games that will likely never ever see the light of day ever again.

Otherwise you are stuck with me suggesting older Bioware game, Bethesda games, or Atlus games. Pretty much all of them are RPGs so they would be a very limited suggestions.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
