I am holding back the urge to buy my first jet in DCS as i have not even touched the other prop planes yet.
I only fly the P-51 so far. I have the 109, 190, the spit, the p-47 and the mosquito to learn before i even try a jet.
I cant keep buying stuff and not use it.
So many of my games in the library i barely touched as well. I cant honestly justify buying anything at all.

Must have a magical version of Steam then. Either that or we're interested in different games and I'm noticing less of a discount on DLC compared to you. Makes sense?
Gotcha.
You forgot to add in your previous post that you weren't talking in general.
broken sword and back to the dawn look alright but so expensve
People often think it's getting worse but the reality is they're fooling themselves. It's like the first time you go to a new shop or start a collection of something - literally EVERYTHINGGGGG you see is something you want to buy as you don't have any.
But as you amass more, you get diminishing returns. People incorrectly think that "it's getting worse" but instead it means there's just less they want because they have already bought loads.
Of course, features like the metagames, freebies and so on have gone away and that's down to bad actors abusing things.
But the discount content always remains good.
Now there is one thing that HAS affected things in recent years - things like triple A gaming getting awful. But thankfully there's stil plenty of indies but it just means you gotta search more.
The best advice I can give you is spend some time scribbling down and researching more.
Go to sites like metacritic and Gamefaqs. Find out EXACTLY what hasw been released since the last time you looked, or filter things by genres you want. Scribble down everything of interest and go from there. Find out what's good and then search the store.
I've done this for decades and though I've got mnay thousands of games, there's always stuff to buy.
I usually scout out free GOG sometimes for my games as they too have good games or IGG games
Lots of great deals on Steam... so idk what you're talking about OP
I've picked up a few games for around $2 or $3 even some around $5 but most of the games were in the summer sale. I've only purchased 2 games in the winter sale, haven't seen anything fancy. I did think about getting plastic duck simulator DLC as it's only $2.60 and another was around $3.60 but it only adds 27 more ducks per DLC
I've used Steam long enough to witness the changes and I'm not the only one to notice DLC pricing and it's not about what I want. That is the ENTIRE point from a business perspective. It's more common and more noticeable by more and more people. Stop with the petty bias and jacket throwing, covering the muddy puddle for o' Holy Steam. I'm tired of this primitive, defensive way of thinking, as if it's forbidden to criticise anything you spend time or money on.
"Gotcha" - what a juvenile response. Then again, for a guy with over 3K games amassed in 13 years, including plenty of anime porn ones, I would expect nothing less.
Merry Christmas to all.
