Hard to tell without posting the specifications of your PC and a more precise account of the exact issue.
Are you on a desktop or laptop?
Yea, OP needs to post their computer specs here.
I actually said it was overheating too.
The whole screen goes black. I can hear PC sounds but the monitor won´t work so I have to restart the PC.
That's not CPU overheating, that's likely either a GPU, RAM, your HDMI cord, or monitor going out.
It could very well still be a cpu issue. What is described as happening is exactly what happened with my Intel cpu when it was having it's issues and spreading cancer throughout my PC. At this point, I'll never buy Intel again.
Again , If OP posts their computer specs and version on here, it would really help too. At this point the OP is only hurting themselves. Also, we can only speculate at this point since we do not have the OP's computer specs.
Could be a cpu issues with the intel chip too if op has 13 or 14th gen chip.
"According to recent reports, 13th and 14th generation Intel chips can potentially "break" your hardware due to a software bug causing them to run at significantly elevated operating voltages, which can lead to instability, crashes, and even potential damage to the processor itself, particularly in high-performance scenarios like gaming or server workloads; this issue is primarily attributed to a faulty microcode algorithm that incorrectly assigns higher voltage than necessary to the CPU.
Key points about the problem:
Elevated Voltage Issue:
The primary cause is a software glitch in the microcode that results in the CPU requesting an excessively high voltage, pushing it beyond safe operating parameters.
Impact on Performance:
This can lead to system crashes, blue screens of death (BSODs), and unpredictable performance issues, especially in demanding applications.
Potential for Hardware Damage:
If left unaddressed, the high voltage could potentially damage the CPU over time.
Intel's Response:
Intel has acknowledged the issue and is working on a microcode update to fix the faulty voltage algorithm. "

I noticed that my GPU was not updated and fixed that now. I am using GeForce RTX. I hope that might help fix the issue
