The issue isn't about hiding or not the hearts. But about "why did steam add something so odd to the filter?" I suppose it's because of the transformation of the word.

But even then... Are people really trying to say that word with 3 letters to bypass the filter? I've never seen that happen. (And I've seen bad censor filters in this life.)

I just checked forums and reviews for games that have night (not morning) and knight (wields sword and shield) in their names. It works universally everywhere on steam except in actual game titles and descriptions provided on store pages.
This is a bad mistake but it is ridiculously hilarious.
EDIT: lol, it even effects events published by developers.

Oh yeah, I forgot that these letters even in the middle of other letters could trigger the censor as well. A fantasy class also gets itself hearted over a poor censor.
