If you have not sent these links yourself, someone else has access to your account.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

I did log in to the thing, stupidly, my steam guard got moved to another device.

I moved it back, changed my password from clean PC, ran a full scan with windows defender - no threats.

Am I safe??

A dummy steam account got made too, trying to copy mine, I changed the passwords on that too and contacted steam support to delete it.

I dont seem to be blocked from my steam chat or friends.. The friend of mine that sent me the link is blocked though..

What should I do???

Hi I accidentally clicked the link but it got an DNS error so the page didn't even load for me. Am I still in trouble though?? Thank you
You should be fine but you can always run an anti-malware scan to be sure.

Am I safe you think??

Did you deauthorize all other devices? That's literally the most important step.

Ok - I just did it again, disconnected all devices from the "Authorized Devices" page.
Am I safe now?

You should be fine as there's nothing more you can do or need to do.

NEW Game version on it. Now some of my friends got a beta test invite to "ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN". So they switched games on what there doing this now. So if you get one for this game too, it is fake. At least now my friends were aware of it and did not click it. I warned them about it. Do not click on any beta test links. If it is on steam, it is probably fake. Only accept them via email for now.
Naposledy upravil RPG Gamer Man; 16. led. v 13.17

True, but at least now that it has been used once, people should be now more aware of it now.
It’s truly unsettling how oblivious people are, regardless of the game.

You do know that sometimes it can take years for someone who means you harm to cause trouble, right? They’re sitting in your account. Waiting.

How could they "sit in the account"?

They have no access to the PC that you used to change the passwords, they have no access to whatever other device you use for two-step verification to change the steam guard again, etc.

If they had a way to access all the passwords in your PC, then they'd have to have some kind of malware infection that gives them that access, which would be detected by malware scans.

So.... there IS a way to restore security.
