What Are 3 Games You'd Like to See Remake With Today's Graphics?
Hello everyone. As written in the title. Which games would you like to see? Of course, you can write games that do not have a PC port, so that they will have a PC port. You can write why these games should be remade with some small explanations. There should be 3.

Another goal of this topic is to reveal forgotten gems.

1) The Suffering
This game was way ahead of its time, but you can't even find a place to buy it today. The game's story was a bit scattered, but its atmosphere and gameplay were top-notch. My favorite thing was that it had a very unique game world in terms of design. Another nice feature was that it could be played both as fps and tps. Normally, there were games that were fps and tps, but none of them could use two different camera angles as well as The Suffering. The Suffering was unique in this regard. For this reason, I think it is one of the forgotten gems that should be remade today.

2) Prey
Another gem that was forgotten with the cancellation of the second game. Prey actually ended with a story that could continue. However, unfortunately Bethasda cancelled it because they didn't see any potential. The Prey we got today has nothing to do with the original Prey. What makes Prey so good is that it shows some serious issues it took on in its time in a very brutal way. It touched on issues such as exploitation, assimilation and imperialism. However, what made the game so good, apart from the weapon mechanics, was that the level designs were incredible. There were level designs that could even be a lesson to today's games. I would like to see this game reborn with today's graphics.

3) Onimusha 3 - Demon Siege
Another unforgettable legend. I have to praise this game a lot. I vaguely remember its story but I know how great the rest is. I can't talk about its story right now. The gameplay was very unique and great. The level designs were very nice and took place both in the present and in the past. The interesting thing is that we played the parts that took place in the present with our Samurai character from the past and the parts that took place in the past as a special forces officer from the present. The game handled each character completely differently. The challenges and gameplay of each character were different. There were special level designs designed for each character. Even the way each character gained their powers was completely different. Apart from that, both the enemies that took place in the present and the enemies that took place in the past were handled in a completely different way. The boss battles were so difficult and tough that they were as tough as the Souls series. Therefore, it made you feel like you were doing Git Gud. I can definitely say that it is a great game that I think should be re-released with today's graphics.

For really old games, I don't know if I'd trust a modern remake. They would probably be changed, perhaps radically, to suit modern gamers. I'd rather play Ultima IV in DOSBox than risk it being turned into a first-person shooter like the Fallout series. The modern Fallout games are fun, but they're very different than the old-school turn-based, isometric RPGs. The crossover appeal is a bit limited. That said, a remake like the recent Wizardry one would be pretty cool.

Games made since the 2000s are better choices, I think. Morrowind would probably be my top pick. There's an unofficial engine remake, and mods can help with other issues. Still, it would be nice to have a plug and play version that was graphically modernized -- 4k, HDR, etc. Seeing that alien fantasy world with modern graphics would be mind-blowing, I think.

For Amiga games, I'd probably go with Populous, Powermonger, or some other Bullfrog game.

Ecco the Dolphin
Ecco 2: Tides of Time
Chrono Trigger
Charisma 1 月 7 日 下午 2:20
Dino Crisis
Hexen
California Games
Adding Zeta and Nirvana. Two PC-98 games in need of a translation from Japanese. From information I've seen about them these were early survival horror adventure games. Screenshots from them look quite detailed but suffer from lack of color and poor use of screen space.

1 through to 4 of the old Mechwarrior games (and expansions obviously) and the old X-Wing + Tie fighter games all the way through to X-Wing Alliance.

Though...yeah..they'd more than just graphical updates. They'd need remaking from the ground up and I;d NEED flat out NEED VR support in them as well.

Wont happen but one can dream.

The Ar tonelico trilogy.

If I can't get that then the Xenosaga trilogy.

If I can't get that then the Wild Arms games ... in particular Wild Arms: Alter Code F, Wild Arms 2, and Wild Arms 5.

Eh, there's many others I could be picking as well but I'd just be blowing smoke seeing as until it actually happens it is just a pipe dream.

Actually there is a rumour that the Wild Arms series may get remakes.

As for xenoblade/xenogears, Nintendo officially owns it now, so it will now never come to pc unless nintendo is less tight ass about their IP's.

But you know how nintendo is, they sued palworld over a patent infringement for throwing a ball at monsters.

I can't be the one that really don't likes remakes, maybe cause i play the hell of those until im bored and there is nothing else to do, but i had my fun with those, i allways prefer something new.

That is the issue with newer games, some of the companies are afraid to do new games. Just look what happened with starfield with bethesda, or concord. They want to make money, not lose it, so that is why so many remakes are being made because they are more safer. If you want newer games, stick to Indie games. They do alot of experimentation and new things.
Pong with Raytracing would be nice.

While those were technically 'new' their execution was not, it just was the same formula with a new paint coat, also yes, i always my bet is with the indies.

I liked to see a resurgence of FMV games.

Along with todays graphics it would bend pretty well - we have so many remakes now it almost feels like a scam.
