Would Steam accept a VN game with AI NSFW images of women since they are not real?

I'm working on a Visual Novel with "realistic" NSFW images generated with AI. The pictures are generated locally using flux dev and are quite realistic, to the point that some people might consider them to be actual raw photos.

Would Steam accept those kind of images in a VN game on their platform since no real woman is actually depicted?

Only Valve could answer your question, the wording is vague enough to not make it clear if the objection is because they are real or whether looking real is enough.

You want to sign up to the developer section of Steam and ask there.

Doubt it. Adult games with real people are not allowed on Steam, even if its AI generated it still looks like "real" people.

There's plenty of porn games on Steam that use realistic 3D models, some so high quality you'd have hard time distinguishing them from photos of real people.

BTW, lot of adverts you see today are 100% AI generated, and feature no real people even if they look they do.

God the amount of lies in a post... "Steam is a porn seller.". Tell me what % of games in steam is porn, I'll wait. Pretty sure it's less than 10% and I'm being generous. To be a "X seller", the value of X must be superior to other ones. Fact: Steam sells games.

Steam is a game store, not a porn store. The context matter because steam isn't selling movies but games. Steam is a GAME store. Other online stores do it as well...

Newsstands, especially bigger ones. As long as it was on separate shelf, no one really cared that it is visible.

You could go to amazon and type porn in their search...it only shows something about 80.000 results....around 1000 for prime video.

Steam is a seller of pornographic material, this means it doesn't matter what other things it sells, because the important information to most people/families, is, "is somewhere safe for my family".

Steam is safe. Ever heard of parental setting? Or, I dunno, being a parent? Don't be a bad one. Set limits, don't give brainrot to your kid. Educate them better...

Security settings are set by parents. If you want to blame anyone, don't blame steam who did make these settings. Blame the parents who don't use them. Easy.

You're trying hard to paint Steam as what it's not. Go figure why. The fact is: Steam is a game store. It sells games. For everyone. Just don't be a bad parent.
