My steam trading is broken and I lost my most valuable item
Hello! Goiple Here, Today I wanted to trade with a bot but with another items (my hat for a couple of keys) and confirmed it on mobile steam app, and got no response, So I declined the trade I sent but when I wanted to send another trade again The steam window says that I blocked this user, I never did such thing, I sent an offer to another user, got the same response, I dont know if this is a new bug or something, I check my confirmations tab in my phone and the confirmation was there like I sent another offer, I didnt checked it correctly and confirmed the trade, the fault is mine after all, but when I check the trade history, the name doesnt show up, neither I can click it to see the profile, just a dot ".", I checked the users inventory and my item is not there! refreshed a couple of times and its still not there, like the trade never happened. Anyways, I hope this get fixed.

Also, when I get a trade offer I dont get any notification, and its an issue with my steam, because I asked for my friends and everything normal... the reason why the bot didnt responded to the trade offer its because it didnt got delivered correctly.

It's possible that your account got compromised.

Check this URL => Https:/steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

... does this list any entries? If so then you need to remove that key ASAP, de-authorize every other device from your account and maybe consider changfing your password as well. Check your profile settings for all that.

FYI: that API key page should only be asking you about a domain name, it should not have any entries.

Sounds like your account is compromised and the hijacker sitting on your account redirected the trade to someone else.

Do the following to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
