Adult Gamers & Dads: What's Your 'Forever' Game?"
I'm just curious, especially for the dads or adult gamers here, what's your "forever" game? The one game you always find yourself returning to, whether it's after work, during a quick break, or late at night when everyone's asleep.

What game is it for you, and what keeps bringing you back to it? Is it the community, nostalgia, endless content, or maybe just a way to unwind?

I am one that craves exploration and experiences, so I don't have a game that I keep returning to. I've never enjoyed doing the same thing over and over. It's why I don't play many MP games. And if I do, I have to have friends along with me. Otherwise, I'm solo-ing my way through a new single player campaign adventure.

I see those users with thousands of hours in a game and just can't fathom spending that much time with that one single game when there are so many more to play.

Tetris and shmups;

I like game density and arcade action.

Which game I usually go back to is something you'd probably find based on my game's playtime, if you're so curious to know, mr dataminer

SMB3
Probably the classics. TF2, CS. Mostly bot matches though.

Gangsters:Organized Crime.

Nobody has made a Mafia game that comes close. They're all just Clickers, or Tychoon knockoffs.
The forever game of most adults these days seems to be the Culture War.

As for my forever game, Real life. The graphics are second to none, but the gameplay sucks, takes forever to get anything done and you have to grind endlessly to get anywhere. You have to pay in order to have debuffs removed, the devs made playing a mage impossible and a thief class too difficult for most players to play and apparently warriors are frowned upon. We get stronger as we level up to a point, which is not far from our starting level of 0 at only 30 and then we start to lose stats whenever we level up. Oh and I wanna know who the dev is that removed fast travel.

At least the minigames are fun.

I think TERRANIGMA is a great game.
Half-Life. I do a playthrough of it or BLM on an annual basis.
One game. Chrono Trigger.
Tetris
Doom. Also Worms Armageddon. I've played a round or two of that here and there with my kid since he was little. He's almost an adult now and still down to ninja-rope his way across and drop some dynamite on his old man.
Assassins Creed Valhalla, or Odyssey
