Can i get banned for using a VPN to get a free downloadable dlc for a free game that is region locked for me?

If i would use a vpn to bypass region lock of a free to play dlc for a free to play game, can i still get banned? I am not using this to get better prices when buying so shouldn't it be fine? I can't find a answer to this exact question so i'm asking here

Yes, your account can be terminated for circumventing regional restrictions - free game or not.

A VPN hasn't been able to be used to change regions for years now. To change region you need a payment method and billing address in the region you are changing to

Yes, that is a account bannable offense. Basically your going against Germany's laws, which also can get you in trouble with your local government if they find out too.
