why is there no bowling games on steam?

i looked it on and theres 1 2008 zombie one and then there's that scammer guys games and nothing else.

i see like a pga series but people say the games are bad and run bad.

I'll go on a limb here and say that while I'm sure there is some, the fact that there isn't many is probably linked to the fact that they would be even more boring that the actual "sport" itself...

Because of such a low appeal, they are way more likely to appear in game packs alongside a bunch of other similar games rather than being a standalone game.

Some of them look like they have very little if anything to do with 'bowling' lol.

Lol. yea exactly. I did play the one I posted in VR.. never tried the flatscreen. It was quite realistic, was like I had lanes in my attic. :)

In the grand scheme of things, there's no (few) bowling games on Steam because very few people have ever *made* a bowling game for PC.

(Now the Wii, there's bowling games. But that's because of the motion controllers.)

There are a handful - best one I've seen has already been mentioned.

My concern is that there is no legitimate curling games available. That's what I'm interested in.

I'll be level with you, I've never felt any excitement playing Bowling. But, at least in real life it can be seen as an acceptable workout as well as social mingling.

You'd never see me play a bowling games on a console or a PC unless I'm somehow threatened to do it.

People are more likely to play a Zombie game vs bowling games anyway. The idea of bowling is slowly going out like golf. 2 things that used to be very popular but not as much as years go by. as for the Zombie part well that is also because devs think that is what people want. So there is probably a lot of bad ones out there.
