OR.... rally to force your government to put more pressure on the EU so that they'll take more effort to stop this current recession spiral we're all in.
Just my 2 cents, I have no intention to discuss politics here as such I'm leaving things here. But... that's honestly my opinion on the matter.
Activision knows very well how much they should charge you for their yearly installment of Call of Shame.
And they don't sell keys. You can only purchase their games through official platform services.
That might be a better hobby for you in the future.
You didn't even play WZ2/DMZ, which are free 2 play. Why are you complaining?
You also have a thread in the CoD forum.
I think they just raised the price for subscription on Xbox and Playstation, it's really expensive if you only care about having access to multiplayer which isn't even hosted on Xbox/PS servers. It's insanity.
But the second hand games you can get for less will equal out that rise in subscription fee.
It works!
Everything is fine. Hobbies aren't supposed to be cheap since they aren't necessities.
Devs have bills to pay too. Or did you think they live in Magical Dev Land where expenses and inflation are just figments of a bad nightmare?
Got news for you, gaming is a luxury hobby, and is not a God given right. As such, it can be a very expensive hobby, and one for which choices must be made.
One thing to note, however, is that comparatively speaking, the cost of games have not risen as much as the cost of other forms of entertainment.
They have every right to earn a living off their work, so to threaten piracy isn't the gotcha you think it is, and only makes you look bad.
Couldn't have been said any better about how hobbies work.
OP needs to look into the model train hobby.
Good thing Activision doesn't have keys for CoD.
Renting games is a thing on Steam. There's EA Play and certain commercial licenses are a monthly subscription, too. Both of which are technically "renting".
