Man, Steam has grown way, WAY beyond me. I just play the games. People with 1 year old accounts at level 69?! Play a game for 3.5 hours but get the entire card collection?! Over 1,000 games on a year old account?
Mom's credit card?
I don't understand Steam anymore. Guess I'm just too old to get it.
I actually started before Steam, when CS had its own thing (CS predates Steam). Then one day Steam came out and I got it because I owned CS. Technically I'm over 10 years, except, I had to make a new account years ago.
thank you for the direct answer
And these is not my first account...
And 1000 games.. ya.. you know bundles and smart shopping
And its all from my own funds.. i do not take from my parents...
I have a low level but i have over 2000 games.
Valve seems to not reward games purchasers a lot.
The whole point of the levels is to get you to spend more money on cards and stuff. More levels = more chance of free boosters.
So steam level is about the number of games you buy with Trading cards enabled and how many badges you then make with those cards. Its got nothing to do with how long youve been a member MS-DOS... and youre not the only one feeling old! Ive managed to get to level 40 myself mostly by just spending the last few pennies in my wallet and trading for the rest. Probably spent 10£ on buying cards outright.
Doubt Ill buy anymore unless its for a game I really like.
You are at 10 years.
