Does Crysis 2 work on windows 8 ?

I want to buy Crysis 2 but i heard that there are many complaints of can't play Crysis 2 on Windows 8.So I am kinda worried about buying it and can't play it.

most games work on windows 8 and will increase performance on windows 8.


do u have 8.1? it will work.


but get it on the sale anyways because its now 1/3 of the full price

I've only played about 90 minutes of the game (today), but so far it has worked flawlessly.

That's on win 8.1 btw

i say why would it not allow you to play on win8? an example battlefield 2 was designed to run on win Xp 32 bit only.. but works fine on win 7 64bit.... so id say it dosent matter as you can aswell run compatibility mode:) so i wouldent worry:) but what you should worry about is having to old os.... like battlefield 3 only work on vista and newer as of directx i think it was.... hope this helps have fun playing and have a nice day:)

Crysis 2: Maximum Edition will play flawlessly on either Windows 8 or 8.1 with no issues whatsoever. I intially began playing on WIN 7 and eventually decided to upgrade to WIN 8/8.1 and I never encountered any issues with either. As a matter of fact I saw an increase in gaming performance in comparison to WIN 7.

Don't buy, multiplayer is screwed... I thought it was a driver problem that made Crysis 2 crash when switching to multiplayer mode but it turns out multiple ppl have that issue and I haven't been able to find a solution to that. Haven't been able to play MP for a couple of months now.
I hope they choke on the massive amount of money they made with their games or that Titanfall and their next projects burn a hole in their pockets. :)

i dont have that issue.

i have windows 7. maybe u have windows 8/8.1...

It works on Windows 8. Not neccessary if 8.1 or 8. I'm using 8 atm and it works fine.

If you try to go to the multiplayer, skip the login first. Then go on Multiplayer again and log in.

did u enter the activation key required for multiplayer?
