It's a pretty sneaky moneysink because cards only cost around 5~15 cents, but you need a couple of them to complete a set. And a bunch of sets to gain a level.

I only spent around 5 dollars or less to get to the level I'm at now, but I also used a 3rd party website to look up the cheapest badges to craft. I wouldn't be willing to spend more than that because I'd consider it a waste of money, but I wanted to at least get to level 10 so I could use a profile showcase. I don't really want to level higher anyway since 10-19 has a red circle, so it matches the theme of my profile.

Not much. I had a giant leap in level thanks to the broken Grand Prix event, the rest was gotten by selling stuff on the market and using those wallet funds to get cards for badges.

Not that much thinking about it. Less than £5 or £10 coming to think of it. I quickly realised im wasting my money on levelling up a steam account. So I started selling trading cards instead of buying them.

I believe I was just entering a time in my life were I was becoming more financially responsible and thinking about my own future instead of the now.
