No refresh button in new app?

Not really loving the new design in general, but how do you leave out something that basic?

You mean the mobile app or the PC one?
On the mobile I think you can pull from the top (where the window is not he bar on top of it)

Nope. Doesn't refresh.

Pull down refreshes for me on ios.

But yeah, there are some wonky bits that make me seriously wonder about the reporting done by users in the beta.

When browsing discussions, you used to be able to refresh the page to see if there were any new threads or responses.

Now I have to go back to the community tab and reselect the forum.

On a Samsung phone/Android OS if that matters.

Just checked and it's refreshing on my ios version. The notifications, however, are lagging behind the actual website by a few minutes.

Edit: So, it could be an Andriod-specific issue, or it's just so far behind pulling stuff off the server it appears not to be refreshing.

Reporting is usually solid - it's Valve's inability to deal with feedback effectively and communicate with the users assisting them that's the main issue sadly.

I honestly think they released it too early in this case, there were a few reports on this, no idea if Valve did not see them or decided it's not important enough to deal with before releasing it

Ya my bad, seems like now its completely broken, it was funky before where if you hit just the top and pulled it worked, but now I cant seem to get it at all
Honestly I start just using my mobile browser for it, works better
Do hope they fix that as well as that number on the top

The new app design is just garbage...sry to be that harsh but why on earth do i have to DOWNLOAD another app now to use the chat funtion which was perfectly working in the old app....and the menu is just overly complex and unneeded. This is just a downgrade on every aspect in my book

Agreed, this is a classic case of "if it ain't broke, fix it till it is."

Thank God Valve wastes it's time remaking something that worked perfectly; instead of making HL3, or Portal 3 lol.
