Is this guys a scammer?

No one from steam support will ever contact you outside the help ticket system. This definitely includes 3rd party services like discord.

First off, yea, that is a scam. Anytime someone also wants you to go on Discord is a big giveaway as alot of scammers use discord to scam people. I think at this point it is the major platform for scammers as i see about 10 people per week getting scammed from steam on there and posting about it on here and complaining about it here. Stop using discord, as there already is enough scammers on steam. Unless you like letting more scammers mess with you on discord, because you cannot count on discord security to stop the scammers on their platform.

Steam/Valve need to do something about these scammers, especially the ones who post links for (Fake Betas) and such.

I browse the Community Threads and all I mainly see is a topic mentioning a scam.
