It's basically a web browser part of Steam each "window" is a Steamwebhelper
You see chrome opens a few chomes if you look for it
Its the same thing

The store, library, community etc. are all instances that have their own process open. Just like with Chrome and other browsers you have a process per tab. Steam is pretty much just a customized web browser using Chromium.

And it is constantly eating up 10-20% of CPU for me... So when I play games, I start Steam with the -no-browser parameter.
This is for my Steam Lite shortcut:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" steam://open/minigameslist -console -no-browser

i think that you can use that without any commands (i think that is the same)

They're not the same. You can make a .bat file for example that launches Steam with the parameters you want. Or make one shortcut with them and one without. If you want to switch, exit Steam and then start with the other shortcut.

With older shorcut i can't switch to classic mode... (i have to select manually large mode)
