Does Steam run OK on Windows 11?

Yes, why should it not? I upgraded to Windows 11 a few months ago and its 99% the same experience as with Windows 10 before.
The UI is a bit different and there are some new shortcuts/functions but overall, its just Windows.
So far every game i played on Windows 11 worked the same as on Windows 10 for me.

20 day with windows 11 upgrade and all is smooth sailing now...

i did have to do a new install of steam to stop
a steam upgrade fail and repeat but that was it..
and nothing since and installed games worked
as if i was still on windows 10 but i did do the
windows 11 upgrade and not a new install...
so a new install might be a bit different...

All the complaints I've seen about issues are with individual games rather than Steam itself. Which makes sense, Steam is updated regularly and Windows 11 is now officially released so there's no reason for them not to make sure it works.

On the other hand when it comes to games Devs tend to drop support after a certain period and don't patch games just because a new OS has been released.

Works just fine, Windows 11 is a bit goofy on some systems though, its been alright on mine other than some issues they seem to have forgotten about like the notifications just not popping up for like 60 seconds or more.

Yeah I've yet to see any real issue with Steam on Windows 11 (I'm not running it myself at this stage). This is just from the posts on these forums.

There have been issues with certain games though.

I current use Steam on Window 11 is no problem. If you have good graphics to play the games.

Been using Windows 11 for the past few months on steam
There no problem for on my end.
As for games It mostly depends on the system requirements.
If you have good graphics card for that game.

Been using Windows 11 for gaming for a while now. Works fine.
Had to cleanly reinstall the graphics driver after upgrading from 10 though.

i got 50 more fps in game till i update to win11 . my cpu is ryzen and i dont have any problems
