How to go into offline mode, even for games that use steam but then use different launchers.
I wont have internet for a month or two. I know of offline mode, but how do I get games to run without internet, if they also use for example rockstar games launcher that doesnt have offline mode.

Depends on the game. If it requires an online check by itself, there is no way.

Put Steam into offline mode, disconnect and try starting the games you plan on playing to see which work and which don't and then ask in their specific forums (or google for yourself).

Honestly, offline mode is pretty bad, not very reliable. I've had games work for only a few days to an entire month until demanding I connect to the internet

Some had issues but I never have. Offline mode should work indefinitely.

Which is a game issue most likely. Denuvo for example requires an internet connection for verification every so often.

The best bet is to setup a few games that definitely will work offline and have no online component whatsoever for that time.

I'm not sure, tbh. I think it's kind of a tossup if it works or not. A couple games that spring to mind that offline mode didn't work for long with are Mass Effect 1 and Battlefront 2 (original).
This was two or three years ago though, so maybe it's changed

The Rockstar Launcher actually does have an offline mode but it's extremely convoluted, just start the games up before you lose your connection and it'll verify your game ownership but I'm not entirely sure how long that lasts. If it works like Uplay, it lasts until you have a solid connection again but I can't say how long that verification lasts.
