That notification tells you to contact Steam support, doesn't it? It also contains a link at the exact same place where it tells you to contains Steam support.

Yup. If this is a message FROM Steam it will tell you to contact them. That's all you can do.

If it turns out to be something else, like your bank card being an issue then that MAY entail you talking to your bank. But of crouse, that still requires you to talk to Valve first.

Only support can help, this is the user forum, contact support.

I assume you got a yellow, or red notification alert that tells you everything you needed to know, with a link to click to contact support on that same notification panel.

If you click the box I read it, and close it, then simply go to Steam help page > My account > Data related to my account > scroll to the bottom click on contact support, and explain your issue.

Support may reply back within 1 - 2 days.

no one here can help you. only steam support can assist you. if there was fraud on your end, then the inventory will be locked to the account permanently. otherwise, the restriction will be removed, but only steam support can help you.

Steam support does not remove items...

Look at your trade history, if you see a pending trade, cancel it, don't let it go through, and report the scammer.

If you confirm the trade using mobile authenticator app, that on you, as you shouldn't be gifting your items. Nor should you be trading.

Now I ask, where did you actually seeing these alert? And did it tell you to trade your items, and ask for anything else?

Follow these steps. Don't skip any.
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Most common reason people get accounts hijack for any service really are as followed.
- Sharing account infomation with others. <--- Very common with impersonators, pretending to be Steam admin / support.
- Logging in on phishing sites. <--- Very common with skin gambling sites.
- Downloading / Installing Virus / Keylogger on your system.
- Using public devices that has keyloggers, such as cyber cafe, school computers, and etc...
- Storing your login credentials on a unsecured service that others has access to view.
- Using same login credentials for all your things, or using same login credentials on another service that had a data leak. Yes it does matter because even if it not related to Steam, if using same login credentials, hijackers will try to use those credentials to see what services you use with those credentials. https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Steam will not return items, all trades, and sells are final.
