Bother people to use steam guard
Dear forum,
what is the reason that i can't post in the forum if the super idiotic steam guard is not enabled? I enablig it only temporary when using the community. I really dont need it but on other hand it is stealing my free time forcing me to type in some codes from mails- im not steams monkey.
I'm really not a typical phishing customer who needs for all serivces a 50000 factor authentication, spending on saturday 2 hours to authenticate in multiple tools on multiple platforms because each platform think it is impoirtant and must bother people with multi factor authentication.

Sorry for typos, the Steam Community from Steam client mark each word red if i type in english, i can't disable this spellchecker for any reaons, it is like the steam guard..

You want to use the forums, you can put up with the requirement. Don't like the requirement and you can just as easily post somewhere else like say Reddit.

Yes, steam guard is really not needet for me. I don't need 2FA for it and mails each time i login from other devices.
Many thanks for the spell check link!

The spell checker is probably doing it's job fine. I can spot quite a few spelling errors in your post and incorrect grammar.

Thing is, it's just a simple piece of security. And you know why security features are always hoops we have to jump through? To prevent or mitigate abuse.

So the reason it's there is to stop scammers abusing the privilege, simples.
If you use email auth, you only need the code once per device
