The button that you seek only appears when valve changes something on the Steam Subscriber Agreement. There is no agree or disagree button when you finish reading it.

if you are affected, just restart steam, and if it needs your answer, it will pop up for you.

It might not show up because of a red bar existing if you use a windows version under windows 10.

If you don't explicitly agree by Nov 1, your continued use of tyyou steam account will be counted as agreement.. To dsagree. well you just stop loging into your or any steam account, and or delete the account.

These are your options.

Agree and continue using steam.
Disagree andcease using steam and all it' services.

Choose wisely.

You could ask an Australian (we aren't impacted).

Yes, there is a checkbox that you agree to new terms. Which mean, when you used the software then you are obligated to follow their policy automatically.

Like all Valve contracts (broken again & again with "our policy changed", "our terms changed") they do not offer a disagree & continue to use as original contract, option.
This in itself is illegal, hijacking your product (aka games) is illegal. Now there is no more cheap arbitration for YOU. Go hire a million dollar team of lawyers to fight over your game inventory.
Arasaka is winning, every single day.

Nope. Happens all the time.
The disagree button basically means you stop using steam. Like cease logging in. or if you wanna go a step further... delete your account. That's how you opt out.

There's no obligation to maintain the previous version of the contract.. I mean unless valve hadn't reserved the right to change the contract in the version you agreed to.. :P

Nope. No moire wasting Valve's money, and Valve's time. Either pony up to court, or shut up.
Arbitration can stil;l happen, but you AND valve have the option of declining arbitration and going straight to court.

Fellow gamers. In light of Steam and Vavle's lack of supporting us, for example, still selling known faulty games, I recommend you submit a Help Ticket under Account and tell them you are refusing the agreement. Currently, the only option you're left with, for declining, is to delete your account. That's it. If Steam/Vavle wants to force this down our throat, then they should refund our ENTIRE library when we delete our account.

The agreement, obviously, gives them more power to refuse refunds and support, pushing us to contact the devs who clearly don't care.

Say no to the agreement. Let's stand together to let Steam/Vavle know that gamers want to be treated better.

Thank you for reading.

Who's "Vavle"?

Valve is probably getting tired of people trying to sue them over stuff out of their control or stupid stuff.
Now you prep for the big leagues if you want to complain over something stupid.
