I contacted Support about it, they responded by saying that it indeed wasn't a "good fit", and that I should just read the guidelines. I told them there were official avatars (like this one) that were just as explicit. Still waiting for an answer from them that isn't some generic copied and pasted paragraph.

The thing you need to remember is that Steam is owned by Valve and it's a private business. WHATEVER they say goes, end of. Even if it's barmy.

And why would you want to defend Valve? They don't care about any of their users its clear they have an agenda behind the scenes i would say Valve mods are payed or crowed sourced through a company which means they are payed to act.

When this is part of the equation it starts to make sense why they ban for the most benign basic stuff. Some of the stuff i get banned for is so ridiculous.

Yeah this is how petty the moderation is getting on Steam. Watch what you say and do because you will be held accountable and anything you say or do will be used against you.

Even when the context is benign af its liable to be taken right out of context and used as reson to ban you because some mod want to push some buttons and pump their hourly quota.
you are not Valves friend or the mods friend so don't support or stand for a group of ppl that don't have you best interest at hand, its just as petty as the issue at hand to do that.

Steam allowing porn games is an issue, because the Customers are not allowed to post porn on here or do anything wrong or even do a stink ass fart without retribution.They justify the rules because its their platform but at the same time they can sell porn games because it makes them money.

If they really cared about porn not being on the platform then that would be at all so the rules would be led by example. To then ban a pretty benign image is just pathetic.
