No temporary delete into a trashbin.
Such stuff often happens when external drives are used and the client is not properly closed at shutdown or drives get removed or added before closing/starting the client.
Steam can not delete or remove game files without human interaction on the pc in question. Not a Steam problem or issue.
As you probably know Steam no longer sells such video licenses; the whole "media market" has been discontinued a few years ago. It's been 4 years since I last watched some episodes, but they're all still available in my library (and online) to this very same day.
The only difference and I suppose a bit of a bummer is it's now provided online and also played through my browser, so it doesn't show up anymore on Steam itself as me watching.

Pictures or it didn't happen, eh? ;)
Bottom line: Steam doesn't delete stuff "just like that".

Do you use one drive or have steam startup with windows?
You have humor and I’m willing to bet you’re a chill person.
Yes is was hibernating when I came back . Hell no I don’t use one drive and I left windows as a whole a week ago .
