Adult or porn? That said, the festive season is generally associated with love & spending time with family, so sex stuff isn't exactly off-topic :lunar2019coolpig:
Gotta get a use in for those inevtiable socks for Christmas Presents *snort*

Ther's no reason to suspect that.

For a start EA are not Take2 in this scenario. Also I'm not aware they're being reworked anyway.

What I dont understand is before Steam had some games on store I thought looked good. I come back in the future and they are not there anymore. Why would you shift games around instead of just keeping them all on the shelf.

If you are Christian call your holiday whatever you want and do not apologize for it.
I will call it Yule or Solstice to Christians and wont apologize to them.

What SHELF? There is no shelf.

Games get moved off of the promotional pages simply becuse that's how marketing works. The owners of said games tend to BUY that marketing space, just like they would in a shop.

They are time-realted deals.

BUt I don't know what you mean by disappeared. Do you mean you can't see them or find them? Well, use your wishlist in future to bookmark them.

Otherwise, scribble down the names.

If you mean they have actually been removed from the store, then yeah that does happen to because licences exist. Nothing can be don e about that. It's nothing to do with Valve, as they cannot control products they do not own.

Well, that's not quite the reason why.

It's more like that Steam is international. Can you imagine that marketing wise pushing a CHRISTMAS event in say, Israel, or India, or Iran or somewhere might not do so well?

If it's that "Christ" in "Christmas", barely anyone here (central Europe) gives half a ♥♥♥♥ about that. Going with the usual US holiday season movies, they couldn't care less about the allegedly-religious stuff either. Would be very ironic for someone in Israel to care more about the allegedly-religious holidays than people celebrating these holidays do themselves...

Well, here's the thing. I know the vast majority of Europe don't give a crap.

BUt the point is this - companies LOVE to shy away from controvery and err on the side of caution. So you can absolutely guarantee that if someone DID take offense they would be the ones to kick up a stupid fuss and make it stupid messy.

After all, Valve IS American, so they will have considerable xperience of Karens.

I'm thinking of that South Park episode, predating the current PC crisis by years, the topic being all X-mas hocuk being declared offensive, result g in the school play being devoid of, well, anything, really.

Yup, South Park have always been ahead on their social commentary.

I think if America had more people like them who openly ridiculed idiocy and did it quickly they wouldn't have half the issues they do have.

Not saying we're perfect ot anything close to in Britain, because we ain't, but idiocy is usually met with quick, shapr ridicule which shuts them up.
