It may improve with a super fast internet connection, however mine was getting high mpbs with very low latency in everything else...
Q2 is supposedly higher res, but you may not notice it that much, infact the entire home area is usually fairly blurry.
While streaming fast paced games like Beat Saber or Synth Riders from your PC the games can hitch and cause you to miss.
If you just want a wireless headset for the sake of it being wireless and using mainly the Oculus store then that's fine. If you're primarily looking to use Steam via your PC I'd think twice about it, it's not always as amazing as some people would have you believe, especially if you have prior experience with VR.
As someone who's owned Lenovo Explorer, Samsung Odyssey, Odyssey+, Rift S, Quest 2, Vive Pro, Pimax Artisan. Rift S is my favorite cheap, middle of the road, headset. It's by no means perfect, but it ain't a bad headset at all, and you can mod the thing to use a Vive Deluxe Audio Strap if you have a 3D printer and some velcro, just like you can with the Q2...
