But if your looking for a game that is a mmo that is fun, try everquest. it has been around forever and most people that play it are hardcore fans nowadays. Most of the toxic people left it for newer mmo's.

You will still run into simps that abuse their overpowered builds though. So be careful.
I also used to play neverwinter nights online which was fun. Mostly it is RPGing as a character and playing the game with others. When i did play it, most people were nice to me when i played it.

Just one big warning, avoid rockstar online games. These games tend to have many hackers that can get you banned from the game. For example, in RDR2 hackers were spamming treasure chest awards that people were picking up. Rockstart auto banned you if you picked them up.

I played everquest on rallos zek and then on zek for 9-10 years, there has really been nothing like it since but this was the closest community wise.
I mostly stick to single player games now, MMO's lost something over the years (imo what they lost was consequences for your actions.. even everquest mostly lost this aspect) and most of them think dailies are content. Games become toxic when there are no consequences for being toxic.
I still like the idea of MMO's it's just that PvP without consequences is just griefing, and PvE without the danger of PvP you have no incentive to be all you can be.
I actually liked PVE. But like you, i got tired of all the human waste that is online. I know stick to single player games mostly now. Titan quest is another nice online game, but it is not mmo, just 2 player co-op online.

It's like an mmo but two players.
