Wait for the xmas sale. Sometimes you get better discounts then. But do not expect any discounts that are good on new games that came out this year. Any game that came out this year will not be very steeply discounted. You will need to wait at least 2 years.

I haven't noticed any meaningful price drops between this sale and last major sale.
It's quantity over quality thing I guess.
