Some people prefer to just show it off, I got a buddy on my steam friends list who I know irl that has a collection that puts yours to shame, and he keeps everything on public, not caring what anyone thinks.
If they judge you, maybe they shouldn't be on your friends list...
If you want to buy more maybe do so on a second account.
Don't buy games you're embarrassed to show your friends or get better friends, problem solved.
So? If they make fun of you they aren't friends worth having.
- Buy only a few of the games you want to hide.
- Make sure the games you are trying to hide are in around the middle or bottom of the list - i.e. not the last ones you bought, as these are the games that will have their whole avatar image displayed at the top of the Activity feed.
- Pray that people will not notice the hidden games in the list.
Rinse and repeat.
If so, wear them as a badge of pride. You like them so who gives a ♥♥♥♥ what others think? If they're truly your friends then they should appreciate this. Otherwise, well they ain't much as friends are they?
I defo would wear them as a badge of pride because I'd soon ershow off the fact I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loony as that's fabulous and shows you have a sense of humour.
But yeah you can private your profile if you really wish.
I wouldn't do this though as you should learn to be proud about what you like.
Weird stuff in general, like "Hentai Nazi Hitler is back" and titles like that. I probably couldn't even buy them if I wanted to, with Steam doing regional censoring and stuff.
Regardless, sometimes people are just weird. You can play Counterstrike, Call of Duty and other military stuff, but the second some skin shows they are all "oh no, everyone get away, sound the alarm, do something!"
It's not so much the content itself. I mean if it's sold here, then obviously it's OK.
It's more the fact they enjoy something, but don't want to admit it to others yet is a really benign thing.
That is struly odd. I get it if they have some stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ parents or something, but as I said if you are worried about what your friends think, then maybe kleep your games visible but get better friends?
Might be best not to buy porn games if you’re embarrassed about them.
That depends on whether it's actually sold elsewhere.
If that actually works, then it's probably the easiest way.
I'd have tried gifting it from another account.
