Discussion : how to get steam support and moderation on your side.
So the issue is how do we as users convey to steam that we only want better and are not against them but are here to offer help and assistance to create a better experience for customers.

In recent days I was ironically lashed out against by steam ,because I lashed out at steam. Steam needs to know most of us are human and we don't like being warned over silly things or banned because someone within steam has a problem with what we say or can't understand its context.

So the discussion is how can we as customers hope for steams Improvements when steam refuses to trust its customers or even accept the things said.

I read your post.

You have to understand that, inheritly Steam Support is designed to psychologically not treat us as people. The protocols may say otherwise, but each support member gets 1000s of people constantly whining about problems essentially.

This disables each support member from emotionally and perhaps even congnitively realizing that they're talking to a human with a unique experience and unique emotions. To them, we are all the same.
You whine, you instantly get belittled in their minds to be just another bothersome nuisance. That's what happens when you have 1 central point where all the 20.000 people with problems flock to. They quite lliterally "cannot handle it". Their human aspects are traumatized and exhausted.

It is because of that impossible. They only see text, they deal with text. They're like robots. They don't treat you human beyond protocols, and you can see that in the fact they don't realize how severe a ban is.
Even if they unban you, they don't restore your post unless you contact them a second time.
Minimum effort and minimum care, that is steam support.

Why, because of the psychological damage that the job has on their minds + the protocols.

For support to be able to treat us humane, the entire system needs to change. It is fundamentally wrong currently and this extends to the way the Steam Community is designed.

Simply using an FAQ to reduce Steam Support to exposure of Steam Support tickets doesn't work.

Ironic coming from someone who has their profile hidden on all their accounts.

Shhhhhh... Logic is not part of the discussion.

:nkWink:
Everyone realized that after OP shot his own feet like 3 times in one hour.

My personal opinion is every comment left by others on this thread could be considered a ban offense and inflammatory, steam however not knowing how to do the job right why trying to attack real users is clearly proof in itself, and you all wonder why I consider steam disgusting.

Clearly cause I have eyes that see the picture steam paints for itself

That's fine, if you feel a post violates the rules you should report it then. Fortunately your personal opinion doesn't dictate the rules.

Your failure to understand the rules doesn't make it a rule violation.

Your confusing accounts again,
When they belong to the same person, is it really all that confusing?

It's good advice but when steam lashes out , users lash back, ultimately steam needs to learn that it should listen, acting out against people says that steam doesn't care about its customers, which is bad business
Well i mean like, if you want them on your side, you just need to stay as calm as possible and thank them for their support on Steam.

And also, part of the reason why Steam is disgusting at some times is because of these disgusting NSFW games like Miss Neko, or My furry protogen. These games do not deserve a sequel and are melting the brains of people.

Another thing is that Steam doesn't care about these NSFW bypasses.

You can just toggle adult content off and not have to see them whatsoever.

I think it's sad folks are warped in this way of thinking. As a consumer, my stance is not to win they or anyone over. It's up to them to win me over, or they don't get a dime.

And thus far, that's exactly what they've gotten. A big fat zero, until they can show they are responsible stewards of my money. And so, i have the games i have, but i just spent money and gave it to Xbox instead.

Speaking for the lash outs from Steam, Ive been warned twice, then perma banned. It was a dev ban though. The dev thought i would even see the warnings. Warnings are so well hidden ngl.

So more less, it was really a lash out. For the very second it happened, it was the worst. You know that feeling when something bad happens, It feels like the worst, but then in the course of some days, it wont feel bad.

Same goes for here. If i did not wait to appeal that ban, I most likely never got the mods on my side.
Haven't appealed it yet though.

You've repeatedly said you have zero interest in spending on the platform regardless because you prefer older games. Plus, your PC can't handle most recent games.

Let's not lie and sit there and claim your lack of purchases are because you're boycotting.

The newer games i have are on Ge Force Now. Well that's going from the frying pan into the fire. And so, 6 games at max over there, and not one more penny.

The audacity that people follow the rules. How dare they require us be civil and not break rules, that is OUTRAGEOUS, where is Mr Spencer to step in, last I heard he was supposed to buy Steam, but now i'm hearing he is about to be fired for driving Microsoft's gaming department into near bankruptcy.
