Why is VAC such garbage?

The only way possible way I think one can get VAC banned is from hex editing BBT, or some other game.
Were you installing viruses? Free robux installs or something?

And doesn't cheating make you feel guilty?

How long? There is a section where you can appeal it, but its going to be very difficult.

You can't appeal VAC bans. That forums section is to keep the pointless appeal requests away from the rest of the forums, it's basically the VAC garbage bin.

So if i hex edit BBT, and if i go on CS2 for example, will i get banned if i don't delete it?

Blame your PC.

Something on your PC, is interfering with VAC. Since it is your PC, only you can fix it. No one here has any idea what is on your PC or how it is configured.

I've been on Steam since day one and every day since then I've heard people complain about how VAC doesn't work but funnily enough, there are always more folks complaining they got banned by VAC. So, I guess it does work just fine...

Well, I looked into it more and yeah, it seems I was wrong. If you get enough reports you just auto-banned on TF2 now. That didn't use to be a thing. No more 4000+ hour profile players cheating for half a decade and never catching a ban.

The new numbers is more so 1 in every 10-20 hours of playing instead of 1 every hour. Keep in mind 2fort, turbine and other CTF maps always had more cheaters than the normal modes. For some reason it attracts cheaters like crazy. Probably because it's considered a TDM mode rather than actually being CTF. And most of my numbers and experiences are based on that rather than payload servers.
